8. Mounting and cabling

a) Wiring

• Connect the entrance doorbell according to the following scheme. Use the charging option either by a transformer
or by a USB cable.
If the USB cable is used, the mounting plate cannot be used.
• Insert an SD card (type: Micro SD - not included) into the slot, if necessary. It is used to store pictures captured by
the camera.
• Slide the sheet metal cover towards "Open" until it clicks and can be opened. Observe the correct orientation of the
memory card. The contacts point to the board and the recess to the top left.
• Close the cover and gently slide the sheet metal cover towards "Lock" until it snaps.
• The bell system has two independent relays that can be switched from the app.
Connect a plot gate or a garage door to relay 1 (lock 1). Lock 2 is reserved for the front door. When the outputs are
activated, the bell sets the contact between the two terminals for the respective locks. An external voltage source
must be provided to open the lock. A high motor current cannot be switched. The opening of the gate/door that
occurred is not requested.
Alternatively, the app enables to adjust the assignment of the relay to door/gate.

b) Assembly

• Place the sheet metal cover on the mounting surface
and align it as desired.
• Check the alignment and mark the position.
Make sure there are no cables or wires be-
low the desired drilling positions.
• Centre-mark the marked areas and make the holes.
Make sure the holes are deep enough to insert a
screw or dowel. The dowels should be easy to push
in and should not turn around.
• Screw on the sheet metal cover, wire the product as
described above and snap it onto the sheet metal
cover. The Torx screw prevents opening of the door-
bell.
Pay attention to an ergonomic bell height of
1.45 – 1.5 m.
Make sure the product is turned on before
you mount it on the wall.
