Incoming doorbell calls
• When the bell button is pressed, a connection will be established to your smartphone and the intercom will ring and/
or light up. The app will transmit the current camera recording and your mobile device will ring.
• You have the following options: Use the camera recording to create three images or videos, accept or decline the
incoming call. Without any action, the app will automatically end the call after 45 seconds.
• If you accept the call, you can continue capturing images and videos, turn off the camera recording, mute the sound,
talk to the guest or end the call. Moreover, the connected doors or gates can be opened. If you have inserted a
working SD memory card, the TF icon will indicate the card status. If it is green, the card is ready for use; if it is
red, the card is full.
• You can access all functions at any time from the main menu or by pressing the bell button. To do this, click on the
eye icon in the Visitdoor area.
When capturing for the first time, you may need to give the app permission to access the photo album.
If your product is in a different network (different Wi-Fi or mobile network), the bell may not be able to con-
tact your product. Adjust your router settings and allow the transmission of data packets to and from your
product. Unlock the required ports. Alternatively, you can dial up in to your home network via VPN.
Settings
• To adjust Visitdoor, press the pencil icon and change the name and password.
• Call up the bell menu to adjust the bell settings. As soon as the connection is established, you can change the
product name, password (default: admin), Wi-Fi settings, and motion detector in the top right line. You can update
the intercom firmware and access images and videos.
• If you click on an image or video, it will be displayed or played back, respectively. In each case, the files can be
deleted using the button in the top line.
Apps for smartphones are subject to constant updates for you as a customer. As a result, the menu naviga-
tion and window overview may also change with the release of software updates. Check your mobile phone
regularly whether a new version of Visitdoor is available in App Store and install it. The updates can also
enhance critical security-relevant functions.
