4. Safety Notices
Damages caused by non-compliance with this oper-
ating manual lead to an expiration of the warranty!
We will not assume any liability for subsequent dam-
ages!

items or persons caused by improper handling or
non-compliance with the safety notices! Any guar-
antee claims will be null and void in such cases.
a) General
• Do not use this product in hospitals or medical facilities. Although
the product only emits relatively weak radio signals, these may
cause interferences with life-sustaining systems.
The same possibly applies in other areas as well.
• For reasons of safety and licensing (CE) it is not allowed to alter
respectively modify the product.
• This product is not suited for children.
• Do not leave the packaging material lying around. Plastic foils and
bags, polystyrene parts etc. are dangerous toys in the hands of
children.
• Handle the product with care! Blows or hits or dropping it even
from a low height will damage it.
Batteries and Accumulators
• Batteries/accumulators do not belong in the hands of children.
• Observe the right polarity when inserting the batteries/accumula-
tors.
• Do not leave batteries/accumulators lying around. Pets or small
children might swallow them. If swallowed, contact a doctor
immediately.

The notches in the casing must point upward (see drawing).
Make sure that no electric cables, gas or water pipes
run along the installation site that may be damaged by
the screw. Mortal danger!
After installation, slide the outdoor sensor into the installation base.
When you want to take the outdoor sensor off (e.g. when changing
the batteries), carefully pull the outdoor sensor forward out of the
installation base.
8. Maintenance and Cleaning
With the exception of a battery change, this product is mainte-
nance-free.
Let an expert respectively workshop perform repairs.
Clean the product with a soft, clean, dry and lint-free cloth. In order
to remove heavier dirt build-up, you may wet the cloth slightly with
lukewarm water.
Do not use any cleaning agents that contain solvents as this may
attack the plastic casing.
