Restore Factory Settings.

If the BS-1000 does not react, you can reset the device to factory settings.
Switch on the device with the on/off button (4).
Insert a thin object of about 3 cm of length (e.g. a ball point mine) into the reset opening at the back of
the device.
Touch it to the small reset button inside the opening.
The devices switches off.
Proceed with care when resetting. The device can be damaged when pointy objects are
used.
All settings bade before this are lost.

Disposal

a) Product
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household waste!
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the relevant statutory regula-
tions.
b) Batteries and Rechargeable Batteries
As a consumer you are legally required (Battery Ordinance)to responsibly dispose of all used batteries
and rechargeable batteries; it is forbidden to throw them away with the normal household waste!
Batteries/rechargeable batteries that include hazardous substances are labelled with these
icons to indicate that disposal in domestic waste is forbidden. The descriptions for the respec-
tive heavy metal are: Cd=Cadmium, Hg=Mercury, Pb=Lead (Designations are inscribed on
the batteries e.g. under the left-hand side waste symbols).
You can return used batteries/rechargeable batteries free of charge at the official collection
points of your community, in our stores, or wherever batteries/rechargeable batteries are sold!
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
