Proper Use
Proper use includes the display of d.c. voltages on a scale calibra-
ted in „dB" and „%". The unit is suitable only for indicating d.c. vol-
tage and is designed only for hobby use.
Use other than that described above will result in damage to this
product and also involves risk of hazards such as short-circuits, fi-
re, electric shock etc. The entire product must not be opened, mo-
dified or converted.
It is imperative to observe the Safety Instructions.
Safety Instructions and Hazard Warnings
When connecting the double control display make sure that the po-
larity (+/-) of the instrument is correct.
Depending on the application, observe the particular safety guideli-
nes, such as the Association for Electrical, Electronic and Informa-
tion Technologies specifications and those of professional associa-
tions etc.
Comply with the maximum permissible values stated in the techni-
cal data.
The instrument may not be connected to voltages which exceed
the protective low voltage in accordance with VDE.
When installing in equipment which is supplied with mains power,
consult a qualified electrician, because incorrect installation poses
a danger to life!
