Maintenance and Care

Apart from replacing the batteries, the alcohol tester is maintenance-free.
Only clean it with a slightly moistened cloth. Never use cleaning agents as these can damage
the surface of the casing.
Ensure that no liquids enter the mouthpiece (4).
Do not store the alcohol tester in rooms with polluted air.
Disposal
Please dispose of the product, when it is no longer of use, according to the current
statutory requirements.
Disposal of used batteries/rechargeable batteries
As the end user, you are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used batteries/rechar-
geable batteries; disposal of them in the household waste is prohibited!
Contaminated batteries/rechargeable batteries are labelled with these
symbols to indicate that disposal in the domestic waste is forbidden. The
symbols for dangerous heavy metal constituents are: Cd = Cadmium,
Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead. You can return your used batteries/recharge-
able batteries free of charge to the official collection points in your muni-
cipality, in our stores, or anywhere where batteries or rechargeable bat-
teries are sold.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environ-
