1. Swing the holder (12) out to
the side.
2. Place a paper filter in the filter
chamber (13).
3. Fill the paper filter with the de-
sired quantity of ground coffee.
The quantity of ground coffee
used must match the water fill
level.
4. Swing parts (12) to (14) back
in again.

5. Check that the glass jug is
sitting correctly on the hot-
plate (11). The glass jug lid (8)
must push the drip stop (15)
upwards. This opens the drip
stop in the filter insert so that
the brewed coffee can flow into
the glass jug.

6. Insert the mains plug into the
socket. The blue LED behind
the button on the control

panel (7) will light up.
