CAUTION
Risk of burns!
The fi lter insert holder, the
glass jug and the hotplate
become hot during opera-
tion and may cause burns if
touched. The hotplate will re-
main hot for some time after
switching off.
Only hold the glass jug by

the handle.
Do not touch the hotplate
■
when it is hot.
Do not hold the bottom of
■
the fi lter insert holder.
Requirements for safe use:
– You have read chapter „Safety"
on page GB-6 and understand
all the safety instructions.
– The appliance is set up as pre-
viously described.
Use

Filling with water

You will find the markings '2', '4'
and '6' on the glass jug (9) and the
viewing window (6). These stand
for the corresponding quantities of
coffee. The '6' mark must never be
exceeded.
1. Fill the glass jug (9) with the
desired quantity of fresh, cold
tap water.
2. Open the water tank lid (4).
3. Pour the water from the glass
jug into the water tank (5).
4. Close the water tank lid (4).
5. Place the glass jug (9) on the
hotplate (11).
