6. Decide whether you want to
use coffee beans or ground
coffee. Continue according to
the relevant section.
You can also remove the
water tank – pull it up-
wards – and fi ll it under
the tap.
Brewing coffee from
coffee beans
1. Remove the lid (1).
2. Fill the coffee bean hopper (3)
with coffee beans.
3. If required, set the desired
grind level:
– turn the knob (2) clockwise
for finely ground coffee.
– turn the knob (2) anticlock-
wise for coarsely ground cof-
fee.

4. Check that the glass jug is

sitting correctly on the hot-
plate (11). The glass jug lid (8)

must push the drip stop (15)

upwards. This opens the drip
stop in the filter insert so that
the brewed coffee can flow into
the glass jug.
