USB hub function
CAUTION

Before you disconnect a USB device from the desk organiser, ensure that
the data transfer has completed . Always disconnect connected USB devices
via your operating system's eject function before physically disconnecting the
USB device from the desk organiser or the desk organiser (with connected
USB devices) from your computer . Incorrect disconnection could result in
data loss or damage to the USB device .
NOTE
►
It may be necessary to install new drivers to transfer data to newly connected
USB devices . These are supplied on purchase or from the manufacturer of
the relevant device .

Boot up your computer and wait until the operating system has fully loaded .
♦
Then connect the USB cable
organiser and to a free USB port (type A) on your computer .
♦
The desk organiser is automatically recognised by the operating system; any
required drivers are automatically installed .
♦
Connect the USB devices in sequence to the USB OUT connections
the desk organiser .
♦
As soon as your computer displays the connected USB devices as removable
storage, you can use these for data transfer .
Cleaning
CAUTION
Damage to the device!

To avoid irreparable damage to the device, ensure that no moisture can
penetrate the device during cleaning .
►
Do not use caustic, abrasive or solvent-based cleaning materials . These can
damage the surfaces of the device .
NOTE
►
Disconnect all USB cables from the USB connections before starting to
clean .

Clean the surfaces of the device with a soft, dry cloth .
♦
Use a lightly moistened cloth and a mild detergent to remove stubborn dirt
residues .
