Description
When a charge program is
started, the safety timer also
starts automatically. This can
prevent overcharging the battery
if it proves to be faulty, or if the
termination circuit cannot detect
the full battery. The value for the
safety timer should be generous
enough to allow a full charge of
the battery.
This sets the maximum charging
capacity to be supplied to the
battery during charging. In case
the delta peak voltage is not
detected or the safety timer does
not expire for any reason, this
feature will automatically stop the
process at the selected capacity
value.
The battery's internal chemical
reaction will
temperature of the battery to rise.
If the temperature limit is reached,
the process will be terminated.
