9. Commissioning

a) Open/Remove Car Body

Pull out the two safety clips (A) at the rear end of the vehi-
cle and carefully fold the car body forward.
There is a power cable between the LEDs on the top of the
vehicle and the receiver (in the receiver box). Ensure that
it is not damaged.
If the cable is to be disconnected, remove the two safety
clips of the receiver box (B).
Carefully pull out the receiver (do not pull the cable, or the
plugs will all come loose!); then remove the connection
plug (C) from the receiver. Remember the proper align-
ment (all black cables of the steering servo, speed control-
ler and LED lamps point to the same side).
Now the car body can be tipped all the way forward.
To completely disconnect the car body from the chassis,
first turn out the two little screws (D) at the joint between
the car body and the chassis with a suitable cross-head
screwdriver.
Then the car body can be removed from the chassis.
During assembly, observe that the plug (C) of the LED lamps is correctly connected to the receiver (all
black cables of the steering servo, speed controller and LED lamps point to one side).
The aerial cables of the receiver and the three cables for the steering servo, speed controller and LED
lamps must be placed correctly at the receiver box before the lid of the receiver box is closed and attached
with the safety clips.
