Connecting the main switch
The main switch in the battery cable is not required
when a REICH MPP battery (Mobility Power Pack) is
used. The MPP has a separate main switch.
easydriver basic 2.8:
The main switch supplied is installed in the red, plus
(+) battery line. It must be easily accessible from the
outside. It is recommended to place it in the area of the
entrance door or a storage box flap.
Connect the M10 ring cable shoes to the shortened,
unshielded cables using appropriate pliers. Connect the
ring eyelets to the main switch. The two single, red
cables to the base stations are jointly connected to one
side of the main switch. The other side of the main
switch is connected to the cable with the integrated
fuse.
easydriver basic 3.1:
The easydriver basic 3.1 is delivered with an illumi-
nated remote switch. It should preferably be installed in
the vicinity of the entrance door.
A hole with a 25 mm diameter is required for the
switch. Insert the cable with the PC-board plug through
this hole from the front. Firmly press the switch into the
drill hole. Glue the dome sticker over the switch. Lay
the cable to the master base station. Ensure that the
cable is not kinked. Connect the PC-board connector to
the master base station as shown in the figure.
Connect both base station with the connection cable
supplied. The PC-board connectors with the cable
outlet on the left are connected to the master base
station. The PC-board connectors with the cable outlet
in the middle are connected to the slave base station.
Check whether all cables have been properly laid,
firmly fastened without friction points and safely at-
tached.
