3. Do not connect the light set to the mains voltage via a dimmer. For a more convenient operation,
connect the light set to a mains outlet which is switchable.

5.2 Power supply of further devices

The four IEC jacks POWER OUTPUT allow for power supply of further devices. Matching power cables with
IEC plugs and IEC inline jacks are available as accessory.

5.3 Connection to a DMX512 controller

To connect the controller with the fixture or one fixture with another only use a stereo shielded cable and
3-pin XLR plugs and connectors. If you wish to connect DMX controllers with other XLR outputs, you need to
use adapter cables.
Occupation of the XLR connection:
1. Connect the DMX output of the first fixture in the DMX chain with the DMX input of the next fixture.
Always connect one output with the input of the next fixture until all fixtures are connected.
2. At the last fixture, the DMX cable has to be terminated with a terminator. For this solder a 120
between Signal (–) and Signal (+) into a 3-pin XLR plug and plug it in the DMX output of the last fixture.

5.4 Interconnecting several light sets (master/slave operation)

Several light sets may be interconnected. Then all slave units can be synchronized and controlled with the
master unit.
1. Connect the jack DMX OUT of the master unit via a 3-pin XLR cable to the jack DMX IN of the first slave
unit.
2. Then connect the jack DMX OUT of the first slave unit to the jack DMX IN of the second slave unit, etc.
until all units have been connected in a chain.

5.5 Connection to the foot pedal FP-1

Connect the connection plug of the foot pedal to the jack FOOT PEDAL on the control unit.
