OPERATION

■ Operations using RS-485 or coaxial cable control system

Operations using RS-485 control system (
Set the communication setting (JP4) pins so that pins 2 – 3 (RS-485) are shorted.
Refer to "Connections for using RS-485 control" for details on connections.

Operations using coaxial cable control system (
Set the communication setting (JP4) pins so that pins 1 – 2 (COAX) are shorted.
Refer to "Connections for using coaxial control" for details on connections.

1 Connect all equipment and turn on the power.
When the power for the camera is turned on, the self-test
function for the internal lens starts, and when it finishes,
the individual information for that camera is displayed on
the screen.

The initial display will appear in the menu
display of the system controller.

Press the INDIVIDUAL button.
"MX:" (multiplexer) will appear in the initial display.

Press the MODE button repeatedly until "CM:"
(camera) appears in the display.
MX → VR → "CM" → DR → MX
5 Use the numeric buttons to enter the address
number (example: 001) that is specified by the
camera's address setting switch (SW1) into
"CAMERA ID", and then press the ENTER
button.
The camera monitoring screen will be displayed.

Making camera settings from the
camera's menu screen
When you press the MENU button, the camera's
menu screen is displayed.
These operations are carried out mainly by using
the joystick lever and the ENTER button.
Make the settings while referring to "MENU
EXPLANATIONS".

Button operations at the system
controller
This uses both the command buttons on the
"CAMERA" panel and the FUNCTION button.
For details, refer to the instruction manual for the
system controller.
