"Input"
At this socket the output signal can be controlled analog. The modulation signal must range from
0 to +10 V, for signals above +5 V see "Signal Amplitude". The maximum gain is 30, it can be
adjusted via "Signal Amplitude" from 0 to 30. An input signal of 1 V will be turned into an output
signal of 30 V. Furthermore there is an addition with the static voltage applied via "Offset". The
maximum voltage can't exceed +150 V.
"Monitor Output"
At this socket the voltage signal can be monitored by using for instance an oscilloscope. The
amplification factor of the monitor signal is 1/1000. The output signal ranges from 0 to +150 mV. In
particular for commissioning and the setting of process parameters it is recommended to use the
monitor output.
"Display"
The LE 150/100 EBW has an LC-display. The display shows the offset voltage selected via the
potentiometer. The display is not able to show the correct voltage at high frequencies. In the case
of high frequencies an average value is shown.
„Output"
The output voltage is available at the BNC plug.

8.1 General

The analog power amplifier LE 150/100 EBW is special designed for the use with Piezocomposite
Actuators from piezosystem jena or other capacitive loads for high dynamics. EBW is short for
Enhanced Band Width. The idle bandwidth of the LE 150/100 EBW is 70 kHz.
