life of the detector internal batteries is 10 years. After this time, the
detector should be replaced.

A blinking battery status lamp of the signolux-receivers in your sys-
tem, when testing the detector, indicates that the module feeder
battery in the detector has gone below its optimum and the detector
should be replaced as soon as possible.
The main indicator on the case of the detector will start to blink if the
detector's main battery is low. The signolux-receivers also indica-
te this by lighting the assigned alarm symbol. Please note that the
smoke detector's internal timer causes this signal to show only
during daytime.
In this case, it is obligatory to replace the smoke detector.
A short flashing of the battery status lamps indicates normal ope-
ration of the detector.
