5. First disconnect the mains adapter from the mains supply and then the barrel con-
nector from the charging station.
6. Remove the rechargeable battery from the charging station and insert it in the de-
vice again.

Operation

PLEASE NOTE!
■ Make sure that there are no large, pointy objects on the area to be cleaned.
■ Do not use the device when it is connected to the mains adapter.
1. If you wish, plug the articulated suction tube/extension tube onto the suction opening.
The articulated suction tube must be heard to engage in place.
2. Plug the nozzle adapter onto the articulated suction tube/extension tube.
3. Plug the nozzle you want onto the nozzle adapter.
The nozzle adapter can also be plugged directly onto the suction opening without
placing the articulated suction tube in between.
4. Switch on the device. There are two possible ways to do this:
– gently press down the On / Off switch. When you let go, the device switches off
automatically again.
– press the On / Off switch once fi rmly and then let go of it. If the device is to be
switched off again, press the On / Off switch again.
5. The device will start vacuuming immediately.
6. Move the nozzle over the surface to be cleaned.
7. If the articulated suction tube is to be bent, press the release button on the articulated
suction tube and bend the lower part forwards.
If it is to be folded up again, move the lower part back into the straight position. The
release button must be heard to engage in place.
8. Switch off the device if the cleaning process has been completed or is to be interrupted
for a prolonged period.
9. The nozzles can simply be pulled off the nozzle adapter when cleaning is completed.
10. Remove the articulated suction tube from the device by pressing the release button at
the top of the articulated suction tube and pulling it off at the same time.

Cleaning and storage

PLEASE NOTE!
■ Ensure that the device has been deactivated before you clean it!
■ Empty the dust bin after every use. The fi lters must also be cleaned regularly to
prevent the motor from being overloaded.
■ Never use soap or other cleaners to clean the dust fi lter. Otherwise this would dam-
age the dust fi lter.
■ Do not clean the HEPA fi lter with water!
