7. CONNECTION CONTACTS AND CONTROL ELEMENTS

The Voltcraft® OVP series lab mains adapters have up to 3 independently adjustable low-voltage outputs.
Depending on design, the different outputs have separate displays for voltage and current or a display that can
be switched between the outputs with a button if required. The different voltage outputs are indicated with
letters:
(a) = Output A „OUTPUT A"
(b) = Output B „OUTPUT B"
(c) = Output C „OUTPUT C"
Connection and control elements at the front (see figures on the following pages):
(1) LC display for output current „A"
(2) LC display for output voltage „V"
(3) Rotary control to set the voltage „VOLT"
(4) Rotary control to limit output current „AMPERE"
(5) Connection sockets for direct current output (red = plus, blue = minus)
(6) LED indication for voltage control for the respective output „CV"
(7) LED indication for overheating of the respective output „OT"
(8) LED indication for current control for the respective output „CC"
(9) Rotary control for setting the overvoltage cut-off value „OVP ADJ."
(10) LED indication for active overvoltage cut-off „OVER VOLTAGE"
(11) LED indication for active current limitation „OL"
(12) Pushbutton for switching current and voltage display *
(13) Pushbutton for displaying the currently set overvoltage cut-off value
(14) Connection socket for earth connection (yellow-green)
(15) Operational control display (mains LED lights up when the device is switched on)
(16) On/off switch (I = ON, O = OFF)
(17) Toggle switch for setting the operating mode for outputs A and B (only for models VLP-2403 OVP and
VLP-2602 OVP)
* The lab mains adapters VLP-1303 OVP, VLP-1602 OVP and VLP-1405 OVP display the current and voltage
values of „output B" in the display for „output „A" when this button is pressed. The lab mains adapters
VLP-2403 OVP and VLP-2602 OVP display the current and voltage values of „output C" in the display for
„output „B" when this button is pressed.
