5 Operation

The handling of the hand tool is to be accomplished as follows:
1. Select the above Diode Carrier.
2. Set up the Diode Carrier and cable according to specification 114-18930.
3. Slide the Diode Carrier into the hand tool. (see figure 2).
4. Insert the cables into the connector and clamp them.
5. Actuate the hand tool until the ratchet releases (see figure 3).
6. Remove the Diode Carrier from the hand tool.
7. Carry out a visual inspection of the Diode Carrier.
8. If necessary readjust the hand tool (see following chapter hand tool readjustment).
