4.3. OUTGOING MESSAGES
4.3.1. Outgoing Message 1
The Orfeo 100 has a standard "Outgoing Message 1" to answer calls if no outgo-
ing message has been registered. This standard outgoing message is as follows:
"Sorry, I can't answer your call now. Please leave your message after the beep."
REGISTERING OUTGOING MESSAGE 1
1. Set the answering machine to "Answering mode with possibility to leave a
message". (point 4.1)
2. Hold down the OGM button and as soon as you hear the beep tone you can
start saying your outgoing message. The outgoing message has a maximum
duration of one minute. As the counter reaches 1 minute, you hear a short
beep and the registration time will be ended.
3. As soon as you have finished your outgoing message,
release the OGM button.
4. Now the machine will repeat the outgoing message to confirm
your registration.
CHECKING OUTGOING MESSAGE 1
1. Set the answering machine to "Answering mode with possibility to leave a
message".(point 4.1)
2. Press the OGM button. The machine will playback the outgoing message.
3. If no outgoing message was registered, you will hear the standard "Outgoing
Message 1": "Sorry, I can't answer your call now. Please leave your message
after the beep."
ERASE OUTGOING MESSAGE 1
1. Set the answering machine to "Answering mode with possibility to leave a
message".(point 4.1)
2. Press the OGM button. The machine will play back the outgoing message.
3. Press the Erase button during OGM playback.
4. The machine will erase the message and says: "Announcement erased".
5. Standard message one comes instead.

4.3.2. Outgoing Message 2
The Orfeo 100 does not have a standard "message 2". If you set your answering
machine in "Answering mode without possibility to leave a message" without
first having registered a message 2, you will hear: "Please Record announce-
ment".
REGISTERING OUTGOING MESSAGE 2
1. Set the answering machine to "Answering mode without possibility to leave a
message". (point 4.1)
2. Hold down the OGM button and as soon as you hear the beep tone, start say-
ing your outgoing message. The maximum duration of outgoing message 2 is
one minute.
3. Release the OGM button as soon as you have finished your outgoing message.
4. Now the machine will repeat the outgoing message to confirm
your registration.
CHECKING OUTGOING MESSAGE 2
1. Set the answering machine to "Answering mode without possibility to leave a
message".(point 4.1)
2. Press the OGM button. The machine will playback the outgoing message.
3. If no outgoing message was registered, the machine will say:
"No announcement".
ERASE OUTGOING MESSAGE 2
If you do not use this outgoing message, you can erase it to increase memory.

2. Press the OGM button. The machine will play back the outgoing message.
3. Press the Erase button during OGM playback.
4. The machine will erase the message and says: "Announcement erased".
