 Place the bobbin on the bobbin spindle (4), with the side of the bobbin
containing the end of the thread facing upwards. Move the bobbin spin-
dle (4) to the right towards the winding stop (5) until it audibly clicks into
place.
 Hold on to the end of the thread and press the foot control. Once some
thread has been wound on to the bobbin, let go of the end of the thread.
Wind thread on to the bobbin until the bobbin spindle (4) stops automati-
cally.
 Move the bobbin spindle (4) to the left and remove the bobbin.
 Cut the thread.
 Set the selector switch (22) in the hand wheel (21) back to the needle sym-
bol. The needle (26) will now move again when you press the foot control.
If the thread is wound unevenly on the bobbin, you can adjust the height of
the thread guide (1):
 Loosen screw (B) to adjust the height of the thread guide (A).
