Mounting and commissioning
6.1 General notes on mounting
•
The wireless inclination sensor can be
mounted to a garage door, for example, using
two screws or double-sided adhesive tape. You
must ensure that the device is mounted in such
a way that the battery plate is at the bottom
when the garage door is closed, for example. If
you want to secure a hatch which is horizontal
when closed, for instance, the device must
be mounted via the top of its housing, using
double-sided adhesive tape, for example.
•
This ensures that the wireless inclination sen-
sor will trigger a wireless command if there is a
tilt movement of around 15°. If the HM-Sec-TiS
wireless inclination sensor is too sensitive to
vibrations such as those caused by the wind,
the position sensor (C) can be bent upwards
a little. If you do this, the sensor will also work
when attached to objects which are not com-
pletely vertical or horizontal when at rest, for
example.
