INTENDED USE
The disposable web is used to lift and support the abdominal
pannus away from the femoral artery/groin area to assist in
visualization and unimpeded access to the femoral artery for
vascular access.
BASE UNIT POSITIONING
1. Position base unit on the cath table, under the mattress pad,
prior to patient transfer. Orient the base unit so the set of top 2
cleats is toward the patient's head. Position the single cleat set
toward the patient's feet just proximal to the patient's iliac crest.
I N S T R U C T I O N S F O R U S E
The base unit must be positioned at or above the level of the
iliac crest to achieve proper pannus retraction.

2a Place disposable web on patient's abdomen and orient the web

thread the 2 bottom straps through the bottom and middle cleats

Hold bottom of web on crease of patient's abdomen with one
hand and pull on the middle strap with the other hand until the
pannus is retracted. Secure middle strap by pulling it into the
narrow part of the cleat, repeat on other side.
2c Secure bottom (white) securing straps next, using the
same method.
2d Secure top (dark blue) stabilizing straps last, using the
same method.
LOCKABLE ARM BOARD SECUREMENT
If using the KanguruWeb™ arm rests, insert arm rest in handle of
the KanguruWeb™ base unit and turn knob underneath to lock in
place. If using other arm rests, slide arm rest between the base
unit and the procedure table after you have implemented the web.

USAGE PRÉVU

2c Fixer ensuite les sangles inférieures (blanches) suivant la
même méthode.
2d Fixer en dernier les sangles de stabilisation (bleu foncé) suivant
la même méthode.
FIXATION DE L'ACCOUDOIR VERROUILLABLE
Si les accoudoirs KanguruWeb™ sont utilisés, insérer l'accoudoir dans la
poignée de l'unité de base KanguruWeb™ et tourner le bouton du dessous
pour le verrouiller en position. Si un autre type d'accoudoirs est utilisé,
glisser l'accoudoir entre l'unité de base et la table d'opération après avoir
placé la ceinture abdominale.

USO PREVISTO
La malla desechable se utiliza para elevar y mantener el tejido de
granulación abdominal alejado de la arteria femoral y de la zona de

COLOCACIÓN DE LA UNIDAD BASE
1. Coloque la unidad base en la mesa de cateterismo, por debajo
del colchón, antes de transferir al paciente. Oriente la unidad base
de forma que el conjunto de las 2 cuñas superiores se dirija hacia
la cabeza del paciente. Coloque el conjunto de una sola cuña hacia
los pies del paciente, proximal a la cresta ilíaca del paciente. La
unidad base deberá colocarse al mismo nivel o por encima de la
cresta ilíaca para lograr una correcta retracción del tejido
de granulación.

se retraiga. Fije la correa intermedia tirando de ella por la porción
más estrecha de la cuña, y repita la operación en el otro lado.
2c A continuación, fije las correas de seguridad inferiores
(blancas), usando el mismo método.
2d Finalmente, fije las correas estabilizadoras superiores
(azul oscuro), usando el mismo método.
FIJACIÓN DEL APOYABRAZOS BLOQUEABLE
Si está usando los apoyabrazos KanguruWeb™, introduzca el
apoyabrazos en el mango de la unidad base KanguruWeb™ y gire
la llave que se encuentra situada debajo para fijarlo en posición.
Si está usando otro apoyabrazos, deslícelo hasta situarlo entre
la unidad base y la mesa de intervenciones una vez que haya
preparado la malla.
