Fitting check / Function test

When fitting has been carried out: Check the drives by test running twice.
When doing so, pay exact attention to windows and drives.
Drives must run at right angles to the window.
Drives must not hit the structure in any position or come into contact with it.
Cause of fault
Fault indicator lights up in the control panel?: Where there is a 3-wire-connection: The monitoring diodes are clamped
incorrectly or are missing; In the case of 2-wire connection: Line end missing or motor fuse faulty.
The drives are running against the direction of run: Swap blue and brown leads or 1 and 2.
Power cut-off does not trigger: Check lead cross-section, compare power supply capacity with the overall power con-
sumption (see Technical Specification). Measure voltage: Voltage on the drive must never be less than 20 V DC.

Maintenance Work

If the equipment is used in Smoke Heat Extraction Systems (SHE for short) it must be checked, maintained and if neces-
sary repaired once a year. This is also recommended for systems that are ventilation only.
Remove soiling from the equipment. Check the fastening and clamping screws for a tight fit. Test the equipment using a
test run. The motor drive is maintenance free. Faulty equipment may only be repaired in our works. Only original spare
parts are to be used. Check the equipment is ready to run on a regular basis. A maintenance contract is recommended to
cover this.
