9.6 PC/104 (nicht PNP fähige Boards)
Bei nicht PNP fähigen Boards ist auf eine korrekete Einstellung des I/O-
Bereiches und des verwendeten Interrups zu achten.
Es besteht die Möglichkeit ein ISABUS Memory-Bereiches zwischen 15-
16MByte zu nutzen. Hierzu muss dieser Bereich aber
im BIOS reserviert werden:
SETUP: CHIPSET FEATURES
OPTION: Memory Hole At 15-16MB->ENABLE
Unter Windows ist es angebracht die verwendeten Resourcen
in der SYSTEMSTEUERUNG/SYSTEM/GERÄTE-MANAGER/
COMPUTER/RESOURCEN RESERVIEREN
zu reservieren.
9.7 Intel Boot Agent (in englisch)
Once installed, the Boot Agent product has very few potential areas
where problems can arise. In general, those problems (and possible
causes) are as follows:
• An error message "Media test failure, check cable" appears. The
network cable between your computer and the network is disconnected,
or there is a problem with the cable.
• Cannot change boot order. See the detailed description in the
Intel(R) Boot Agent User's Guide for corrective actions.
• For any other problems, see the detailed descriptions in the
Troubleshooting Procedures section of the Intel(R) Boot Agent User's
Guide for corrective actions.
