7.2 Servicing

Safe operation of the MaxiFil is positively influenced by a regular inspection and
maintenance which should occur at least quarter-annually.
- Visual inspection
- The MaxiFil works without the need for maintenance and only needs occasional
adjustment of the extraction arm joints and a filter change when necessary. For re-
adjusting the joints, please observe the provided assembly and maintenance
instructions for the extraction arm
.
INFORMATION
Any necessary repair work must only be performed by KEMPER or
specialist companies authorised by KEMPER.
WARNING
Skin contact with cutting fumes, etc. can cause skin irritation in
sensitive individuals!
Repair and maintenance work on MaxiFil may only be carried out
by trained and authorized specialist staff in compliance with
the safety notes and the applicable accident prevention
regulations.
Severe damage to health of respiratory organs and the respiratory
tract!
Please wear protective clothing, gloves and a fan-respiratory
protection system e.g. KEMPER autoflow XP or a filter respirator
mask of class FFP2 as per EN 149 in order to avoid inhalation of
dusts.
Please avoid the release of hazardous dusts during repair
and maintenance work to prevent any harm to persons
commissioned to the task.
