Disposal

If you want to dispose of your Auerswald device, please ensure
the professional disposal. Do not put it in the normal household
waste.
Dispose of the packaging material properly and in inter-
est of the environmental protection.
Consult your responsible authority for information about
the professional and environment-friendly disposal of
your device.
If you want that we handle the disposal for you, you can send the
device to us.
Note that we do not accept parcels that were sent carriage for-
ward.
Instructions in accordance with § 18 Batteriegesetz
(BattG - German Battery Law)
Duty to provide information in accordance with the Batteriegesetz
(BattG - German Battery Law)
Please dispose of your old batteries at local recycling
facilities, in compliance with legal requirements, or
return them to your local retailer. The disposing of bat-
teries in normal household waste is prohibited and violates the
Batteriegesetz (German Battery Law). The disposal of the batter-
ies is free of charge. If you want you can return the batteries to us
and we will take care of the disposal. However, the postage for
the delivery must be paid.
Batteries which contain hazardous materials are marked with the
symbol of a "crossed out waste bin". The chemical symbols or
hazardous materials contained in the battery are listed under-
neath the "crossed out waste bin" symbol. These may include:
(Pb) lead, (Cd) cadmium, (Hg) mercury, (Li) lithium, (Ni) nickel,
(Mh) metal hydride, (Zi) zinc.

Power consumption

The power consumption of every Auerswald device is automati-
cally reduced to a minimum. Nevertheless, note the following rec-
ommendations for power saving:
