Basic Functions

Switching the Handset On/Off

To switch on the handset, press

To switch off the handset, press and hold
•
off? dialog appears on the display, and press the Yes soft
key.
Notes: The handset switches on automatically when it is con-
nected to the wall wart.
The handset cannot be switched off if it is still connected to the
wall wart.

Setting the Receiver Volume

During a call you can press -, on the left, or +, on the right, on
•
the navigation key, to set the receiver volume.

Locking/Unlocking the Keypad

Press the Menu soft key and press * to lock/unlock the key-

pad.
If the keypad is locked, the icon
