use can however, result in personal injury and/or damage to the
device .

Danger of electric shock

Danger to life by electric shock!
Contact with live wires or components could lead to serious
injury or even death!
Observe the following safety precautions to avoid electric shocks:
► Do not use the device if the AC adapter, the adapter cable or
mains plug are damaged .
► Do not open the housing of the device . Danger of electric shock
if live connections are touched and/or the electrical and me-
chanical configuration is changed.

Handling batteries

Danger resulting from improper use!
Observe the following safety instructions to ensure safe handling of
the batteries:
► Do not throw batteries into a fire.
► Do not short circuit the batteries .
► Do not try to recharge the batteries .
► Check batteries regularly . Leaking battery acid can cause
permanent damage to the device . Particular care and attention
is required when dealing with damaged or leaking batteries .
Danger of acid burning! Wear protective gloves .
► Keep batteries out of the hands of children . If swallowed, con-
sult a doctor immediately .
► Remove the batteries from the remote control when the device
is not to be used for a longer period of time .
