Determining the image window
The SIMATIC MV220 has an adjustable image window (40 x 30 mm to
200 x 150 mm). The distance to the sensor determines the size of the image
window and can be determined as follows:
1. Measure the object to be inspected.
2. Calculate the distance:
Distance = 5/4 · Width of the object
Distance = 5/3 · Height of the object

Note
In color recognition mode, the minimum distance from the object to
be inspected to the sensor is 70 mm.
