Please read these operating instructions fully before putting the unit
into operation, the instructions contain important information on cor-
rect operation.
Damages resulting from failure to observe these instructions are not
covered by the warranty. We accept no liability for consequential
damages!
We accept no liability for injury to persons or damage to property resulting from inap-
propriate handling or failure to observe safety instructions! In such cases the war-
ranty is rendered void.
This device left the manufacture's factory in a safe and perfect condition. We kindly
request the user to observe the safety instructions and warnings contained in this
operating manual to preserve this condition and to ensure safe operation! Please
observe the following symbols:
An exclamation mark in a triangle indicates important information in these
operating instructions which are to be followed strictly.
This product is CE compliant and thus fulfills the necessary guidelines.
The unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the unit is inadmissible because
of safety and approval reasons (CE).
Measuring instruments and accessories are not toys and have no place in the hands
of children.
On industrial sites the accident prevention regulations of the association of the indu-
strial workers' society for electrical equipment and utilities must be followed.
In schools, training centres, computer and self-help workshops, handling of measu-
ring instruments must be supervised by trained personnel in a responsible manner.
Do not switch the measuring instrument on immediately after it has been taken from a
cold to a warm environment. Condensation water that forms might destroy your device.
Leave the device switched off and wait until it has reached room temperature.
Wear suitable hearing protection in loud environments. Excess sound levels may
cause hearing damage.
Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. This could become a dan-
gerous toy in the hands of children.
