Dynamic Area
Area up to approx. 79 inch (200 cm) from
the object. The QUICKPARK System indi-
cates objects with interval warning tones
but only if the vehicle is moving towards
the object.
Static Area
Area up to approx 48 inch (120 cm) from
the object. The QUICKPARK System indi-
cates objects with interval warning tones
both when the vehicle is stationary and
when the vehicle is moving towards the ob-
ject.
Area with Continuous tone

Area up to approx 12 inch (30 cm) from
the object. The QUICKPARK System indi-
cates objects with a continuous tone both
when the
vehicle is stationary and when the vehicle
is moving towards the object.
Cleaning
Only clean the sensors with water,
gentle soap and a soft cloth.

Never use dry, rough or hard cloths
and do not scrub the sensors. Otherwise,
the sensors could be scratched or dama-
ged.

If you clean the sensors using high
pressure or steam cleaning equipment,

only aim the stream of water at the sensors
briefly and maintain a distance at least
12 inch (30 cm) to the sensors. The device
manufacturer will provide you with
information about the correct distance.
Repair
If a component of the QUICKPARK must be
replaced, e.g. a sensor, you must have a
qualified specialist workshop recalibrate
the QUICKPARK system. Mercedes-Benz
recommends a Mercedes-Benz Service
Centre for this purpose.
