You will hear a confirmation sound after each pressing and the selected
identification AC or DC is displayed.
Function Button (9) "HOLD"
With this function you can hold resp. "freeze" the current measured
value on the display (4). If you press the button "HOLD" during
measuring you will "freeze" the current value and "H" will be displayed.
If you press the button again you will switch off this function and the
current measured valued is displayed.
Function Button (11) "RANGE"
When switching on the unit the setting will turn to automatic measuring
modulation (for voltage and current measuring) and will always shows
the maximum possible accuracy.
With the "RANGE" button you can manually change the measuring
range.
Act as follows:
Press the button "RANGE" and the name "AUTO" (A) will disappear
from the display.
To move the decimal place to one digit to the right, press the
"RANGE" button once more. When pressing the the button again,
the decimal place will turn back to the left. You can repeat this
procedure as often as necessary.
If you want to turn back to the auto range function, press and hold
the button "RANGE" for approx. 2 secondes. In the top left corner of
the display you will see the name "AUTO".
After pressing any key you will hear a confirmation sound.

COM Input (5)
This socket is intended for the black measuring probe for taking voltage
measurements in the AC/DC range, for taking resistance measure-
ments and for continuity tests.
