Connecting the Measuring Cables

Attention
The max. allowable and measurable input current is 400 A (AC/DC).
The max. allowable and measurable input voltage for this unit is 600 V
(CAT II) and may not be exceeded.
The measuring cables provided are capable for taking measurements
up to a maximum of 1000 V AC/DC. The measurement of high voltages
should always be made with great care and only by a trained person.
If the measuring range is exceeded you will see the overload
symbol „OL" on the display.
Measuring Category (CAT I, CAT II, CAT III)
The measuring category I is intended for taking measurements on
circuitry not directly connected to the power mains.
The measuring category II is intended for taking measurements on low-
voltage circuitry. Examples for this are household appliances, mobile
electric devices or similar equipment.
