holders and the loudspeaker using an appropriate isopropanol degreaser. Leave to
dry for 10 minutes and then avoid touching there areas any further otherwise it will
not be possible to guarantee a perfect bond of the individual parts!
The sensors must be painted in accordance with the color of the diffuser (sensor material -
metal + EPDM). Use the enclosed template for the painting. Perform the painting according
to the instructions and recommendations of the paint manufacturer.

- Drill the holes using the cutting tool order no. BEA 000 001. If this cutting tool is not
available then drill the holes using a graded drill. Drill the center of the holes according to
the symbols on the inner side of the bumper. Finish the holes to a diameter of 18 mm
from the inner side. Remove any possible frays and clean the holes.

- Place the sensor into the holder, remove the protective foil, place it into the hole and
press down lightly.
- Position the sensors according to their color: outer - blue; inner - black. Caution: They
must not be interchanged.
- The position and orientation of the sensors must be the same as shown in the
figure.

- Fasten the wires to the beam of the rear bumper with the fastening clips attached to the
cabling.

- Affix the loudspeaker (B) as show in the figure. Lead the cable from the loudspeaker
together with the cable bundle from the real light.
- Fasten the cable (B) using the self- adhesive tape (I) and the tightening band (K) as shown
in the figure.
- Fasten the cable (C) to the edge of the metal plate using the tightening band with the clip
(L) according to the close-up.

- Connect the cables from the loudspeaker (B) to the terminal board (C). Yellow wire - PIN
15, blue wire - PIN 3 of the control unit.

- Disconnect the connector from the rear light and connect it to the cable (C) as shown in
the figure.
- Then place the connector back into the foam mantle.
- Connect the control unit (A) and wrap it into the felt padding (H). Then place the control
unit wrapped in the padding into the cavity under the right rear light.
