6.2 Cleaning the fan unit, wind
guard and front panel
Caution.
Damage to the regenerator.
The regenerator may fall during
cleaning.

Clean the regenerator care-
fully.
1. Switch off the product.
2. Disconnect the product from the power
supply.

and front panel.

6. Use a dry cloth to clean the fan unit,
the wind guard and the front panel.
7. Mount the fan unit with wind guard and
front panel back onto the wall-mount-
ing frame from which you previously
removed it.
6.3 Cleaning the filter and
regenerator
Conditions: LED on the product lights up red
OR: Filter defective or beginning to tear

Switch off the product.
▶
Remove the fan unit with wind guard
and front panel.
▶
Remove the regenerator (on which the
filters are mounted) from the pipe.
▶
Pull the filters off of the regenerator.
▶
Using its lowest power setting, use a
vacuum cleaner to carefully vacuum
the filters.
▶
Use water to rinse out the filters.
▶
Using its lowest power setting, use a
vacuum cleaner to carefully vacuum
the regenerator.
▶
Use water to rinse out the regenerator.
Conditions: Drying the filter and regenerator
▶
Secure the filters back onto the regen-
erator.
▶
Ensure that the tension cable is posi-
tioned securely and is not damaged.
▶
Plug the regenerator back into the
pipe until it approximately reaches the
centre of the wall.
– The regenerator and tension cable
must not touch the fan's impeller.
▶
Mount the fan unit with wind guard and
front panel back onto the wall-mount-
ing frame from which you previously
removed it.
▶
Reset the LED.
