The device is manufactured according to protection class 1. Only an approved
mains socket may designed with an earthing contact may be used as a voltage
supply. You must ensure that there is no break in the earth conductor, neither in
the mains cable nor in any connected extension cable. An interruption in (or the
absence of) an earth conductor could result in fatal injury. Operation of the device
without a corresponding earth connection is not permitted.
• The product is suitable for a mains voltage of 230V~ or 115V~ 50/60 Hz. The oper-
ating voltage for the product can be selected via a voltage selection switch. Adapt
the operating voltage of the device to the local mains voltage. You can get this
information from your local power company.
• Always pull the mains plug out of the socket by the gripping area intended for this.
Do not tug on the cable; this may damage the mains cable or the plug. Danger of
fatal electric shock.
Never touch the mains plug with wet or damp hands. There is risk of a fatal
electric shock.
• Make sure the mains cable is not squashed, bent, damaged through sharp edges
or otherwise subjected to mechanical strain. Avoid excess thermal stress on the
mains cable through excess heat or cold. This may damage the mains cable. A
damaged mains cable may lead to a fatal electric shock. Do not modify the mains
cable.
• If the mains cable is damaged, do not touch it. First of all, cut off the power sup-
ply to the relevant mains socket (e.g. via the circuit breaker) and then pull the
mains plug carefully out of the mains socket. Do not operate the device any more.
Take it to a specialist workshop. A defective connecting cable may only be
replaced by a specialist. Risk of an electric shock!
• For reasons of safety, pull the mains plug out of the mains socket before cleaning
the device, during a thunderstorm or when the device will not be used for a longer
period of time.
The device is not a toy. Electrical devices must be kept out of the reach of
children. Pay particular attention if children are present. Children are not
aware of the potential danger associated with the incorrect handling of elec-
trical appliances.

15. Remplacement des fusibles

Si le remplacement des fusibles s'avère nécessaire, veillez à utili-
ser uniquement des fusibles présentant le type, les caractéris-
tiques de déclenchement et le courant nominal spécifiés (voir «
Caractéristiques techniques ») pour les remplacer. Avant de rem-
placer les fusibles, il faut impérativement débrancher la fiche de
secteur. Il est interdit d´utiliser des fusibles « bricolés » ou répa-
rés ou de ponter le porte-fusible.
• Eteignez d'abord l'appareil.
• Débranchez la fiche de secteur de la prise de courant. Une fois que l'appareil est
coupé du secteur, débranchez le cordon secteur de l'égaliseur.
• Retirez prudemment le capuchon du porte-fusible (19) avec le fusible défec-
tueux.
• Retirez le fusible défectueux et remplacez-le par un fusible neuf du même type
(voir « Caractéristiques techniques »).
• Replacez prudemment le capuchon avec le nouveau fusible dans leporte-
fusible (19).
16. Elimination
Procédez à l'élimination du produit au terme de sa durée de vie
conformément aux dispositions légales en vigueur.
17. Dépannage
Avec cet égaliseur, vous avez acquis un produit à la pointe du développement tech-
nique et bénéficiant d'une grande sécurité de fonctionnement. Il est toutefois pos-
sible que des problèmes ou des pannes surviennent.
