3. Intended use

The device acts as an equalizer in semi-professional audio systems. It is connected
between the signal source and downstream audio devices. The equalizer influences
the low-level audio signals by lifting or lowering the frequency bands. The device
may only be driven by low-level audio signals.
The product is designed for an operating voltage of 115 V~ or 230 V~ 50/60 Hz alter-
nating voltage; the corresponding device voltage can be selected via a voltage selec-
tion switch on the back side of the device.
This product is only approved for connection to a socket with earthing contact.
It may only be used indoors, never outdoors. Contact with moisture, such as in bath-
rooms, must be avoided.
Any use other than that described above could lead to damage to this product and
involves the risk of short circuits, fire, electric shock, etc.
No part of the product should be altered or modified, and the housing must not be
opened.
