Trouble shooting

Remedy
• Check the voltage supply
• Is the plug connected properly?
• Is enough oil in the tank?
• Intensive foaming in the filter cup – is the
suction pipe blocked?
• Was the pump filled with heating oil before
its initial start? Please see point 7.0.
• Non-return valves must not be installed in
the suction pipe. If it is not possible to
remove existing foot or non-return valves,
we recommend installing a pressure
compensator or an expansion vessel with
oil-resisting diaphragm.
• Is the filter insert dirty and blocked?
If necessary replace it and exchange the
O-ring of the filter cup.
• First motor/pump faulty
(does not run smoothly)

• Check pump/motor
• Check motor current
• The leak detector tripped
• Remove the oil from the sump
• Seal the leak
• The oil level is too low
• Check why the pump cannot suck oil
• The oil level is too high
• Tank overfilled by oil from the return line
of the burner.
• Check solenoid valve on the suction side
• Oil temperature exceeds 40°C
• Ensure cooling of the pump, if necessary
install it in a different location
• Do not connect burner for dual line operation
but single line operation.
