7.2 Videozubehör
An die Ausgänge der Kamerasteuereinheit können Peripheriegeräte
(Monitor, Drucker, Rekorder, PC, Video-Still-Speicher) angeschlossen wer-
den, die den Videostandards PAL oder NTSC (abhängig vom Kameramo-
dell) entsprechen und das Signal S - V ideo oder Video auswerten können.

Sicherheitshinweise

Die Geräte dürfen nicht in explosionsgefährdeten Umgebungen betrieben
werden.
Auf tropf- und spritzwassergeschützte Geräteaufstellung achten. Die
Kamerasteuereinheit nicht in Flüssigkeiten tauchen.
Die elektrische Ausstattung ist regelmäßig zu überprüfen. Defekte sowie
lose Verbindungen, angescheuerte Kabel und andere Störungen, die die
Sicherheit beeinträchtigen können, müssen sofort beseitigt werden. Die
Geräte dürfen nur in technisch einwandfreiem Zustand und zum bestim-
mungsgemäßen Gebrauch unter Beachtung der Gebrauchsanweisung
benutzt werden.
9 Inbetriebnahme
9.1 Hinweise für Installation und Gebrauch
Vor der Installation und dem Gebrauch muss sichergestellt werden, dass:
• die elektrische Installation den geltenden technischen Vorschriften
entspricht und
• die geltenden Vorschriften für den Brand- und Explosionsschutz
eingehalten werden.
• Bei Eingriffen am Herzen muss der Potentialausgleichsstecker
des Gerätes mit dem Potentialausgleichsband verbunden werden
(siehe IEC 601-1-1/EN60601-1-1 oder entsprechende nationale
Normen).
9.2

Betriebsvorbereitung

Vor dem Betrieb sind folgende Schritte durchzuführen:
1 Transport des Systems in den OP
2 Prüfung der Betriebsbereitschaft
3 Videokonfiguration (Video, S-Video; Konfiguration abhängig von
Peripheriegeräten)

Cleaning, Disinfection and Sterilization

10.1 Cleaning
The camera control unit is constructively only suitable to be wiped by a
moist cloth. The unit is not allowed to be inserted in liquids. The camera
head is watertight.
10.1.1 Cleaning of the camera head
Clean the camera head and the camera cable with a soap suds. Do only
rince with pure tap water.
10.1.2 Cleaning of the camera control unit
All exterior surfaces of the camera control unit can be wiped by a soft cloth
which has been moistened with water, a soft soap suds or isopropyl. Hardly
removable or unsightly stains can be removed by a soft cleaner of ammo-
niac basis.
Do not use scouring agents or solvents, as they could damage the painting
of the front plate. Do either not use wet sponges or cloths as surplus
liquids could get in the electrical parts.
10.2 Disinfection
The camera controller is constructively only suitable to be disinfected by
wiping. The unit is not allowed to be inserted in liquids. The camera head
is watertight.
Generally, we recommend using sterile drapes for single use for the sterile
covering of camera head and camera cable.
10.2.1 Disinfecting the camera head with liquids
Insert the camera head and cable in a disinfectant. Please follow the
recommendations of the manufacturer of the disinfectant regarding con-
centration of the liquid and disinfecting time. Inserting the camera head for
more than the recommended time will not improve the result of the disin-
fection.
After disinfecting, rinse the camera head and cable, then wipe them with
a cloth and dry the exterior surfaces carefully.
