10.2.1 Flüssigdesinfektion des Kamerakopfes
Legen Sie Kamerakopf und -kabel in eine Desinfektionslösung ein. Befolgen
Sie die Empfehlungen des Desinfektionsmittelherstellers bezüglich Konzen-
tration und Zeit. Ein über die Empfehlung hinaus gehendes Einlegen erzielt
keine verbesserte Desinfektion.
Spülen Sie anschließend Kamerakopf und -kabel ab, wischen Sie nach und
trocknen Sie alle Außenflächen sorgfältig ab.
10.3 Sterilisation
Die Kamerasteuereinheit kann nicht sterilisiert werden.
Der Kamerakopf ist freigegeben zur Sterilisation durch STERIS
Steris - Sterilisation
TM
Alle Teile des Kamerakopfes und des Kamerakabels sind hinsichtlich der
Materialien für die Verfahren Steris und Sterrad geeignet.
Bei Verwendung der STERIS- Sterilisatoren sind die Herstel-
lerhinweise zu beachten. Verwenden Sie einen biologischen
Indikator, um den Erfolg der Sterilisation zu überprüfen.

Die Kamera bedarf keiner regelmäßigen Wartung.

5 Important Notes
Set-up the unit in such a way that sufficient air flow is guaranteed. All ven-
tilation slits on the back side of the item and bottom plate have to be free.
Take care that a minimum space of 30 cm is given between the back panel
and other objects. The average surround temperature should not exceed
40 °C.
Never use the unit with dismantled housing and only operate the unit in a
horizontal position.
The operating quality of the system is depending on electromagnetic har-
monisation of the peripheral units such as monitor, printer, recorder etc..
Electromagnetical disharmony could cause stripes or color changements on
the monitor.
All additional and/or peripherical systems or units which are connected to
the camera system units have to correspond to EN specifications (e.g. EN
60950 or EN 60601). Furthermore they have to cover the EN 60601-1-1
norming. The person who installs additional systems to the Camera control
units is configurating a system for which this person is responsible. In case
of questions please contact your local dealer or our technical customer
service.

Intended Use and Operation

6.1 Indications for use C1 Classic/C1 Multi
The CCD Cameras C1 Classic/C1 Multi have been designed for use in end-
oscopy. It is preferably used with rigid or flexible endoscopes. Light sour-
ces developed by us are available as accessories for the CCD Cameras.
6.2

Mode of operation

The area of interest, the operation area is picked up optically via the end-
oscope, displayed via the endocoupler onto the CCD sensor and then con-
verted and amplified into electrical signals. The image brightness is auto-
matically controlled according to the light intensity („autoshutter").
Camera signals are supplied to the CCD camera controller via a camera
cable and are further amplified for monitor display.
The video signal processed in this way is subsequently applied to the CCD
Camera controller output socket for monitor, video recorder, video printer and
PC-connection use.
