Einrichtung und Gebrauch im OP

Das Netzkabel anschließen
Verbinden Sie die Buchse des Netzkabels mit dem Netzstecker auf der
Rückseite der Kamerasteuereinheit.
Stecken Sie den Stecker des Netzkabels in eine Steckdose. Stellen Sie
sicher, dass die elektrische Installation den auf der Geräterückseite aufge-
führten technischen Anforderungen genügt.
Videoanschlussbuchsen
Verwenden Sie die Videoanschlussbuchsen wie in den Abbildungen gezeigt.
An die analogen und digitalen Schnittstellen angeschlossene
Geräte müssen nachweislich die entsprechenden EN-Normen
erfüllen (z.B. EN 60905 für Datenverarbeitungsgeräte und EN
60601 für medizinische elektrische Geräte).
Ferner müssen alle Konfigurationen die Systemnorm IEC 601-1-1/
EN 60601-1-1 erfüllen. Die Person, die zusätzliche Geräte an das
Signaleingangs- und -ausgangsgerät anschließt, ist verantwortlich
für die Konfiguration und muss sicherstellen, dass die Systemnorm
IEC 601-1-1/EN 60601-1-1 oder entsprechende nationale Normen
erfüllt werden.
Sollten Sie hierzu Fragen haben wenden Sie sich bitte an den Lut -
Kundendienst.
Verbinden Sie den farbcodierten Kamerastecker am Kamerakabel mit der
Kamerabuchse auf der Frontplatte der Kamera (rote Punkte). Der Stecker
darf keine Feuchtigkeit aufweisen.
Die Kamera auf das Sterilfeld stellen
Stellen Sie die Kamera mit angeschlossenem Kamerakopf auf das
Sterilfeld. Denken Sie daran, dass die Kamerasteuereinheit, der
Kamerakopf und das Kamerakabel ordnungsgemäß sterilisiert wurden und
bedienen Sie sich aseptischer Standardvorgehensweisen. Wenn der
Kamerakopf gemäß den Krankenhausvorschriften in einem Sterilbeutel
untergebracht werden muss (Sterilisation durch Etylenoxid statt durch
Einlegen in Lösung), muss dies geschehen bevor der Kamerakopf und das
Endoobjektiv auf das Sterilfeld gestellt werden.

Switching on the units
• Press the ON/OFF switch. The LED (1b) lights up.
• Switch on the monitor
Attaching the endoscope
• Spread the holding claws of the endocoupler by pressing both push-
buttons simultaneously.
• Insert the scope eyepiece and release the pushbuttons.
• Check the correct connection by turning the endoscope
If needed, the scope can be fixed against rotation by screwing in the six
edged fixation screw (12).
Connecting the light guide
• Attach the fiberoptic cable to the endoscope and turn-on the light source
with light intensity at low.
Focusing the image
• To focus the image, turn the optical focusing ring (13) on the camera head.
9.4 Setting options at the Camera control unit C1 Classic

9.4.1 White Balance

• In order to whitebalance the camera system, aim the endoscope at a
white object, such as a sterile gauze.
• Press the button (3) and hold the endoscope focused on the gauze for
a few seconds.
The image will change to an accurate white. This procedure will allow the
camera to reproduce all colors naturally. During the white balancing the
display shows „AWB RUN". After White Balance: „AWB SET" (1 Sec. visible).

9.4.2 Window function

With the button (4a), a preselected window can be chosen. Only the
part of the camera chip, which contains image informations, is used for
controlling the sensitiveness. With help of this function, black margins of
e. g. thin optics with small working diameters can be faded out for the cal-
culation. Doing this, the images can be optimized.
The activating of the „Window" is shown by lightning of the LED (4b).
