CVs 2, 5, 6. With Bit 4 = 1 the control
line set. in CVs 67 to 94 will be used

The value of this CV sets out the
distance between the exhaust beats.
In speed step 1 and is relevant to the
type of locomotive. Should the steam
exhaust beat of your loco not be
exactly synchroni sed, even though
set at the maximum effect by the fac-
tory, it can be corrected here. Higher
values give higher pauses and vice-
versa.
The value of this CV sets out the dis-
tance between the exhaust beats in the
the higher speed areas. See also CV57.
Whether at standstill or in motion, the
decoder will issue incidental operational
noises. The time lapse between these
noises varies between a maximum and
minimum period. The minimum time
period in between can be altered here.

6. Alterations to the CV-Values with Märklin** 6021
The Märklin**- Central Control Unit 6021 has a special setting:
Because it does not conform to the NMRA standard DCC, it cannot be used to
alter any of the CV's conforming to this standard. Despite this, owners of the
Märklin** 6021 are still able to alter the most important CV's.
The maximum period between sounds
can be set here. See also CV61.
The volume of the sounds can be set in
steps from 0 = low up to 63 = loud.
Numerical values from 1 to 255 to alter
the graduation of the control line for
forwards running. With numbers larger
than 128 the speed will be increased,
and decreased with numbers lower than
128. With 0 nothing will happen.
A speed value between 0 and 255 can
be put into each of the 28 CVs from 67
to 94. In CV67 it's the lowest and CV94
it's the highest speed. The intermediate
settings give the control characteristic
line. It determines how the vehicle
speed alters in relation to the controller
settings. This control line is active with
CV29, Bit 4 = 1.
As per CV66, but for backwards
running.
