2. The loco sound is not clear:
Run the loco in pure DCC- or Motorola*-operation.
3. The loco does not respond to Motorola* commands:
If the decoder is set to handle the long DCC-address, then you must change the
setting to use the short address (CV29, bit5 = 0).

Bit 0=0 Bit 0: With Bit 0 = 1 the direction of the
