Small scars, wrinkles
The unit may help in treating small scars and wrinkles.
Treatment: For this purpose, the Softlaser can be used directly on the skin. Caution: When using
the unit near the eyes, make sure that the laser beam does not shine on to the eye.
Colds
Colds are usually caused by viruses. The defence systems of the mucous membrane of the nose and
other orifices near the nose are triggered by the infection.
Treatment: Hold the Softlaser approximately 1 cm under each nostril but do not push the instru-
ment into the nose. Clean the unit after use.
Usage:
Battery
To open the battery compartment push the cover in the direction indicated by the arrow. Ensure correct
polarity when inserting the batteries (the polarity is marked). To close the battery compart-
ment push the cover in the opposite direction. Battery disposal: You are legally obliged to
dispose of the batteries. Used batteries do not belong in the household waste. Dispose of
them via your specialist electrical supplier or local collecting point for recyclable waste. No-
te: Batteries containing pollutant substances are marked as follows: Pb = Battery contains
lead, Cd = Battery contains cadmium, Hg = Battery contains mercury.
On / Off
The Softlaser is turned on and off by pressing the "On/Off" button.

Cleaning and disposal

It is recommended that the laser head be cleaned after each treatment with commercial isopropyl
alcohol. Wet a cloth with the alcohol for cleaning the unit, do not i mmerse the laser head completely in
alcohol. Ensure that the Softlaser is completely dry before using it again.
Please dispose of the device in accordance with the directive 2002/96/EG – WEEE (Waste
Electrical and Electronic Equipment). If you have any queries, please refer to the local authorities
responsible for waste disposal.

• Read these notes carefully.
• Caution – if operating equipment or procedures are used which differ from those specified here, this
can result in dangerous exposure to radiation.
• Never look into the laser beam, not even with optical instruments (e.g. glasses, contact lenses,
magnifying glass, microscope etc.) from a distance of 100 mm or less. If this happens, immediately
consult an eye specialist. The unit is a Class 2M laser.
