9 .1 Replacing the blade

The blade should always be changed when the cable tie can no longer be cut-off neatly or easily.
CAUTION
The blade is sharp and could cause injury.
f Remove the screws

f Carefully remove the blade
f Insert a new undamaged blade of the same size and design (see section "Spare parts and
accessories"). In doing so, pay attention to the correct direction of installation.
The installation direction is defined by the slot for one of the nose piece screws
f Replace the nose piece.
f Tighten the nose piece screw.

10 Taking out of operation

When used for its intended purpose, the application tool will perform continuously without issues.
Should the application tool need to be withdrawn from operation, it must be disposed of correctly
in accordance with the country-specific disposal guidelines.

11 Spare parts and accessories

NOTE
The use of spare parts and accessories not approved by the manufacturer may lead to damage of the
application tool.
f Use only approved spare parts and accessories otherwise warranty claims shall be rendered void.
Spare parts and accessories can be obtained directly from the respective HellermannTyton country
representative.
