7 .2 Setting the tension force via the adjustment dial

The tension force is selected in N (Newton) using the tension force scale.

• For the tension force range 1-4, turn the lever to Standard (STD).
• For the tension force range 5-8, turn the lever to Heavy (HVY).

The specified tension forces are only general reference values. Due to the diversity of possible
influences during processing and use, we recommend checking the tension cut off forces with a
conventional force meter.

7 .3 Locking of the fine adjustment

The adjustment lock prevents unintentional adjustment of the tension force.

8 Maintenance
The application tool is largely maintenance-free.

9 Repairs

NOTE
The application tool can be damaged when opening the housing, making changes to the components or if
repairs are carried out incorrectly.

manufacturer. This also includes opening the application tool and changing components or
functions.
