3.2 Eingänge
Die gewünschten Eingangsbuchsen (14–16) werden
beschaltet. Die Umschalter MIC/LINE (22) für die
Eingänge MIC/LINE 1–4 (14) auf die entsprechende
Stellung schalten.
Wird ein Plattenspieler an die Klinkenbuchse
PHONO (16) oder eine Quelle an den Reserveein-
gang AUX (15) angeschlossen, muß der Schiebe-
schalter (3) auf MAG. PHONO, CER. PHONO oder
AUX stehen.
3.3 Einschleifanschlüsse
Auf der Geräterückseite ist ein Schalter (20) vorhan-
den, mit dem die interne Verbindung von Vor- und
Endverstärker auftrennbar ist. Nach der Trennung
(Position SEP) kann der Anschluß PRE OUT (18)
mit dem Eingang eines Equalizers, eines Echogerä-
tes oder eines anderen Effektgerätes verbunden
werden. Dessen Ausgang wird mit dem Eingang des
Endverstärkers POWER IN (19) verbunden. In der
normalen,
nicht
aufgetrennten
(CONN) ist der Ausgang PRE OUT (18) nutzbar zur
Tonband- bzw. Cassettenrecorderaufnahme.
Zum Anschluß eines weiteren Endverstärkers ist
der Ausgang LINE OUT (17) vorhanden.
4 Bedienung
1) Zunächst die Regler (1+ 5) in Position "0" stellen.
2) Nach Anschluß der notwendigen Lautsprecher
und Eingangsquellen sowie eventueller Ein-
schleifgeräte kann die Netzleitung mit einer Netz-
steckdose (230 V~/50 Hz) verbunden und der
Netzschalter (8) eingeschaltet werden. Nach dem
Einschalten leuchtet die Kontrollampe ON (9) auf.
3) Die Eingangsregler (1) auf die gewünschten
Werte stellen.
4) Zusätzlich zur Haupt-Höhen / Tiefenregelung (4)
besitzen die Kanäle MIC/LINE 1–4 eigene Regler
(2) für Höhen und Tiefen zur optimalen Einstel-
lung der Klangfarbe. Bei kompletter Linksstellung
beider Regler ist die Charakteristik eines Sprach-
filters vorhanden.

3.2 Inputs
The input jacks (14–16) are connected as desired.
Set the selector switches MIC/LINE (22) for the
inputs MIC/LINE 1–4 (14) to the corresponding posi-
tions.
If a turntable is connected to the
(16) or a source to the auxiliary input AUX (15), the
sliding switch (3) must be set to MAG. PHONO, CER.
PHONO or AUX.
3.3 Insert Connections
At the rear panel there is a switch (20) by which the
internal connection of preamplifier and power ampli-
fier can be opened. After opening the circuit (position
SEP) the PRE OUT connector (18) can be connect-
ed with the input of an equalizer, echo unit, or an-
other effect unit, the output of which is connected
with the input of the power amplifier POWER IN (19).
In normal switch position (CONN) (the circuit is not
opened) the PRE OUT output (18) can be used for
tape and cassette recordings.
Besides there is a separate LINE OUT output
(17) to connect another power amplifier.
4 Operation
1) At first set the volume controls (1+ 5) to the "0"
position.
2) After connection of the necessary speakers and
input sources as well as possible insert units the
mains cable can be connected to the mains
socket (230 V~/50 Hz) and the power switch (8)
be switched on. After switching on the control LED
ON (9) is lighting.
5) Die Gesamtlautstärke mit dem Hauptregler
MASTER (5) einstellen. Das eingebaute Instru-
ment (6) zeigt als VU-Meter die mittlere Aus-
gangsleistung an. Die PEAK-LED (7) ist eine Spit-
zenwertanzeige, geeicht auf +6 dB-Spitzen. Es
wird empfohlen, den Verstärker so zu betreiben,
daß dieser Wert nicht erreicht wird, d. h. diese
LED soll gerade noch nicht leuchten.
4.1 Mikrofon-Vorrangschaltung
Mit Hilfe des Mikro-Kanals 1 kann über ein laufendes
Musikprogramm (im AUX/PHONO-Kanal) für An-
sagen etc. gesprochen werden, wobei eine automa-
tische Musikabsenkung bis zu 20 dB mit weicher Ein-
und Ausblendung vorgenommen wird.
Bei Linksstellung des Reglers FADER (21) auf der
Geräterückseite ist diese Automatik außer Betrieb.
Bei Rechtsanschlag dieses Reglers ist maximale Ab-
senkung der Musik eingestellt.
Schalterstellung
4.2 Batteriebetrieb
Die 24-V-Batterieanschlüsse (13) befinden sich auf
der Rückseite des Verstärkers. Wenn die 24-V-Span-
nung angeklemmt wird, ist der Verstärker sofort in
Betrieb. Die LED ON (9) leuchtet. Der Netzschalter
(8) ist ohne Funktion.
Wenn gleichzeitig 230-V-Wechselspannung und
24-V-Gleichspannung angeschlossen sind, dann
arbeitet der Verstärker auf Netzbetrieb und schaltet
bei Netzausfall automatisch auf Batteriebetrieb um.
4.3 Schutzschalter
Im Falle von Kurzschluß oder Überlastung öffnet ein
Unterbrechungsschalter automatisch, es leuchtet die
LED PROTECT (10). Nach Beseitigung des Fehlers
kann dieser Schalter (11) wieder geschlossen werden.

5) Adjust the overall volume with the MASTER con-
trol (5). The VU meter (6) displays the average
output power. The PEAK LED (7) is a peak value
display, calibrated to +6 dB peaks. It is recom-
mended to operate the amplifier in such a way
that this value is not reached, i. e. this LED must
not yet light.

4.1 Microphone Priority Circuit
With the microphone channel 1 an actual music pro-
gramme (in the AUX/PHONO channel) can be talked
over for announcements etc. while the music is auto-
matically attenuated down to 20 dB. There is a soft
fading in and out.
With counterclockwise position of the control
FADER (21) at the rear this function does not work.
With turning this control clockwise to the right end
stop the max. music attenuation is adjusted.
4.2 Battery Operation
The 24 V battery connections (13) are at the amplifier
rear. If the 24 V voltage is connected, the amplifier is
in operation immediately. The LED ON (9) is lighting.
The power switch (8) is out of function.
If 230 V alternating voltage and 24 V direct voltage
are connected at the same time, then the amplifier
operates with mains. In case of mains failure it auto-
matically switches over to battery operation.
4.3 Circuit breaker
In case of short-circuit or overload a circuit breaker
(11) automatically opens the circuit, the LED PRO-
TECT (10) is lighting. After removal of the error this
switch (11) can be closed again.
