Sensor - separate version
Exchange of sensor
After the exchange of a sensor the technical characteristics will be outside the specifications. The instrument will measure with slightly reduced
accuracy. The error rate can be max. 3 mbar, this is independent from the measuring range.
In order to minimize the measured error, follow exactly the description.
Before dismounting the pressure sensor, it is necessary to remove the sensor assembly from the housing, see "Exchange of sensor
assembly".

Clean the gaskets and inner surface of both flanges carefully. No sealing surface may be damaged or show any marks or dents.
The mounting position of the sensor is optional. The markings of the pressure surfaces LP and HP are visible on both sides the sensor.
Clamp the flanges tight and parallel to the measuring cell (i.e. with a vise).
Depending on the gasket and pressure version the screws were secured with lock washers or special screws, covered with glue, are used.
If the original screws are used again or if copper gaskets are mounted, it is necessary to place lock washers between the flange and the nuts.
Tighten the screws alternately in a crosswise manner, please observe the tightening torques and holding time listed in the following table.
Secure the screwed connection with locking varnish.
